Vietnam Record Holder, 20 years of reaching out to Vietnamese aspirations

On the morning of January 6, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Record Holders Association and the Vietnam Record Organization (VietKings) organized the 53rd Vietnam Record Holders Reunion with the theme of Aspirations at the age of 20: No one taxes dreams - Just go and it will become a road , celebrating the 20th anniversary of the establishment of VietKings (2004 - 2024), while continuing to honor the new record holder talents recognized by the world .

The Asia Record Organization has just established 11 new Asian records for Vietnam with outstanding achievements, including 2 young talents: Nguyen Minh Hai and Ngo Dac Sang.

Nguyen Minh Hai, although only in 7th grade, has used the bilingual super logical thinking method Finger Math (Vietnamese - English) with the "Finger Thread" technique, the national flag color image logic math, the physical optical spectrum color image logic math to encode numbers and perform calculations: squaring a 3-digit number, multiplying a 5-digit number by a 5-digit number in geographic metadata; memorizing and reading accurately 3,788 numbers in decimal and negative numbers corresponding to the latitude and longitude of 239 countries and territories in the world.

The test "Negative numbers corresponding to latitude and longitude of 239 countries and territories in the world" is one of the complex school records, requiring the connection of many contents, methods as well as data retrieval in a short time.

Another Asian school record was successfully achieved by record holder Ngo Dac Sang, a 4th grader, using the bilingual (Vietnamese - English) Finger Math super logical thinking method, the "Finger Thread" technique and the "Virtual Hand" technique, to find 168 prime numbers in 1,000 consecutive natural numbers. Previously, Sang achieved the Vietnamese record in 2021 and 2022 when he used the "Virtual Hand" technique in the Finger Math thinking method to calculate the square root of a 4-digit number in 3.2 seconds and used the "Finger Thread" technique in the Finger Math thinking method to find 168 prime numbers in 1,000 consecutive natural numbers.

Returning to the world record-breaking feat in random image memory, athlete Dang Ngoc Phuong Trinh and 2 other individuals were also awarded new world records by the World Records Union (WorldKings) this time: Engineer - physician Huynh Ky Tran, who researched and created the extraction process and production method of betel leaf essential oil (Piper betle) which has the effect of neutralizing and inhibiting viruses such as: pink eye, hand, foot and mouth disease, SARS-CoV-2, granted many patents, the most useful solution; Record holder Tran Van Muoi, who composed and came up with the idea of adapting the poem Con Desi King Hung globally into traditional folk art forms in the largest number, made MVs - performance programs to promote and spread the values of Vietnam's intangible cultural heritage to the world.

20 YEAR JOURNEY OF PROMOTING VIETNAMESE VALUES

According to the Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Record Association Le Tran Truong An, up to now, the Vietnam Record Association - Vietnam Record Organization has successfully organized 53 reunions, becoming a founding member and an important partner of many record organizations in the region and around the world.

"The record-holding community of more than 3,000 individuals and organizations has been using their talents and intelligence to contribute to building the homeland and country, raising its value to international records: With over 20 tireless journeys to promote Vietnamese values organized by VietKings, notably the journey to search for, introduce and promote cuisine - specialties, introducing hundreds of typical dishes - specialties of provinces and cities, thereby successfully nominating and establishing 20 world records and 60 Asian records in the culinary field. Many major annual competitions on a national scale have been jointly implemented from 2019 to present. In 2023, for the first time, Vietnam will have world gold medals recognized in the Super Memory and Mind Map categories", Mr. Truong An shared.

Dr. Le Doan Hop, Chairman of the Council for Establishing the Vietnam Record Organization, is delighted with the 20-year record journey and the core values in the mission of bringing the quintessence of Vietnam to the world. He emphasized: "The core values of Vietnam records are summarized in 5 values: records are national heritage - international heritage; records are national brands; records are national assets; records are national pride and honor; records are assets and heritages of today's generation left for future generations. Each record holder and record owner is a vivid proof of continuous creativity, of effort and intelligence. It is a journey of relentless efforts, exchanged with sweat, tears and even blood".

Looking back on his journey of striving, World Super Memory record holder Nguyen Phung Phong concluded: "If there was no Vietnam Record Organization, I would just be a poor skills teacher wandering around Ho Chi Minh City with an old motorbike and a set of tools to earn a living to take care of my children. Effort alone is not enough, there must be noble people to support and teachers to teach."

Currently, the community of Vietnamese record holders at the age of 20 is full of aspirations and is growing stronger, not only promoting domestic values but also reaching out to the region and the world, contributing to introducing and demonstrating the quintessential values of Vietnamese people in all areas of daily life.

At the 53rd Vietnam Record Holders Reunion, the Organizing Committee also announced and awarded the Certificate of Calendar and Achievement to 5 units: Hung Vuong Hospital (HCMC), An Phuoc Primary School (Da Nang City), Hue Railway Station (Thua Thien-Hue), Chu Van An High School (Truong Buoi, Hanoi) and Cau Dat Farm (Lam Dong).

9 individuals leading the Record Organization and record holders were awarded the Golden Disc of Dedication by the World Record Institute (WorldMark): Dr. - Lawyer Nguyen Van Vien, Chairman of the Vietnam Marketing Association Tran Hoang, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Pham S, People's Artist Kim Cuong, Major General Vu Cao Quan, Professor - Doctor Pham Van Thuc, culinary expert Ho Dac Thieu Anh, and two record holders: Nguyen Thi Thanh Tam, Vo Thi Anh Nguyet.

The Organizing Committee also announced and awarded new Asian records of Vietnam to typical dishes - specialties: Soc Trang noodle soup, Tra Cuon sticky rice cake (Tra Vinh), Phan Thiet hotpot (Binh Thuan) and Ninh Hoa grilled spring rolls (Khanh Hoa).
