With Chelsea's Conference League title win, the 2024/25 Premier League season witnessed an unprecedented event: five different teams winning the title in the same season.
Earlier, Liverpool had won the Premier League, Crystal Palace had won the FA Cup, Newcastle had won the Carabao Cup, while Tottenham had ended a nearly two-decade trophy drought with the Europa League title.

For Chelsea specifically, they became the first English team to collect the complete set of continental titles, including the Cup Winners' Cup (1971, 1998), Champions League (2012, 2021), Europa League (2013, 2019), Conference League (2025) and UEFA Super Cup (1998, 2021).
Winning the Conference League would secure Chelsea a place in the Europa League. However, "The Blues" don't need this privilege because they have already qualified for the Champions League qualifying rounds next season, having finished 4th in the Premier League.
The past Premier League season also marked a memorable milestone with a total of nine teams qualifying for European competitions in the 2025/26 season. Liverpool, Arsenal, Man City, Chelsea, Newcastle, and Tottenham will compete in the Champions League. Two English clubs will participate in the Europa League next season: Aston Villa (who finished 6th) and FA Cup winners Crystal Palace. Nottingham will secure a place in the Conference League.
