Strange first generation traditional pho restaurant "second best in Thai Nguyen"

A pho restaurant in Thai Nguyen with a humorous sign has been attracting customers these past few days.

Recently, the online community has been spreading a picture of a pho restaurant in Thai Nguyen . Accordingly, on the restaurant's signboard is the phrase: "Family-preserved beef pho, first generation" with the assertion "second best in Thai Nguyen, don't know where the best is".

According to the reporter's investigation, this sign belongs to a pho restaurant located on Bac Kan Street, Thai Nguyen City.

The restaurant representative said that the welcome sign placed outside is to create a fun and comfortable atmosphere for diners. The restaurant has only been in operation since October 2023.

This witty sign has attracted attention, many people are curious whether the restaurant's beef pho is really "the second best in Thai Nguyen".

The pho at the restaurant has a sweet, clear broth. The pho broth may be a bit bland for some people's taste. Diners can add spices such as fish sauce, chili peppers... according to personal preference.

The difference of the restaurant is that it uses small pho noodles, different from most other pho restaurants in Thai Nguyen which usually use large pho noodles. A normal bowl of pho at the restaurant has quite a lot of meat.

The plus point of the restaurant is that the staff is quite enthusiastic and open. Customers are served free iced tea and water. However, sometimes customers have to wait quite a while to order.

The space is airy and clean with yellow tones, creating a pleasant, warm feeling. The special highlight is the large painting synthesizing the image of the old Thai Nguyen province, with famous works such as the City Post Office, the central circle, Gia Bay bridge... recalling a bygone era of the steel city.

Bowls, chopsticks, and spoons with beautiful designs, showing meticulousness in decoration and service. The processing area, broth boiling, and meat slicing are arranged right next to the entrance. Diners can directly watch the pho preparation process.

A bowl of pho costs about 35,000 - 40,000 VND. The menu also has beef pho, beef hotpot, beefsteak... Beefsteak rice costs from 39,000 - 55,000 VND.

This may not be the best pho restaurant in Thai Nguyen, but it is certainly an interesting stop.
