An Giang launches National Day for National Security Protection in 2025

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Huynh Thanh Lam, Deputy Director of An Giang Provincial Police, emphasized that protecting national security, maintaining social order and safety, and organizing the movement "All people protect national security" is the common cause of the entire Party, people and army, in which the police force plays a core role.

Colonel Huynh Thanh Lam suggested that Party committees and police at all levels improve the quality and effectiveness of the "All people protect national security" movement in conjunction with other movements and campaigns in the locality; firmly consolidate the people's security posture, in conjunction with the all-people national defense posture.

Continue to pay attention to building and replicating effective advanced models and examples, especially models of self-prevention, self-management, self-protection of security and order, and people's clubs participating in preventing and combating crimes and social evils at the grassroots level. Encourage people to actively and extensively participate in the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life"; promptly encourage and reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements to create motivation to promote the development of the movement.

Colonel Huynh Thanh Lam, Deputy Director of An Giang Provincial Police and Secretary of Go Quao Commune Party Committee Ho Minh Hai presented gifts to families in difficult circumstances.

After the launching ceremony, An Giang Provincial Police organized many practical activities for the community, such as: Visiting and presenting gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Tran Thi Thao in Go Quao commune; organizing the "Progressive Youth" talk show; propagating the response to the "Education for the People" movement and presenting 30 gifts to poor and near-poor households; presenting gas stoves to 50 Khmer households in difficult circumstances; presenting 15 gifts to progressive youth; 15 gifts to people with outstanding achievements in the All-People Movement to Protect National Security; 1,000 notebooks, 20 scholarships, 10 bicycles and 10 gifts to students of Go Quao High School.
