More than 70 km is the average distance that Ms. Luu Anh Thu (Hanoi) drives every day. After 9 months of use, Ms. Thu's car's odometer has reached 17,000 km. From a "new female driver" a year ago, Ms. Thu is now confident in holding the steering wheel like a "veteran". That confidence comes from when she owned her first car, the VinFast VF 5 Plus.

Since using VF 5 Plus, Ms. Thu has become a driving "addict" and never leaves the steering wheel.

Having received her driver's license about 5 months before buying the car, Ms. Thu confidently drove the VF 5 Plus from Nam Dinh to Hanoi on the first day she received the car. "The car is very easy to get used to and easy to drive," Ms. Thu said.

In particular, she said that the car can also update software remotely to improve technology like on smartphones.

Since using VF 5 Plus, Ms. Thu has almost never left the steering wheel. During the week, she goes to work, on the weekend she goes on a picnic, and during the holidays, she chooses to drive herself to travel far with her family. During the recent April 30-May 1 holiday, Ms. Thu went on a trip from Hanoi to Hue. On the way back to the capital, she decided to just stop to rest, charge the battery, and then drive straight back that day.

“Driving the VF 5 Plus is very comfortable, running more than 600 km in a day without feeling tired at all,” Ms. Thu shared. “The car feels very safe to drive, especially for women. According to Ms. Thu, the cost of charging, monthly battery rental and vehicle maintenance of the VF 5 Plus is very economical. She compares this maintenance cost to even cheaper than… a motorbike.

With a travel frequency of less than 3,000 km per month, Ms. Thu chose a battery subscription package for 1.6 million VND. According to the female car owner's estimate, with a travel distance of about 2,500 km, the cost of charging the car is about 1 million VND. The total cost for both charging and renting the battery is about 2.6 million VND, which means it only costs about 1,000 VND per km traveled. This cost is only about half the cost of filling up a gasoline car in segment A with an average fuel consumption of 8 liters/100 km.

Ms. Thu highly appreciates the fuel economy of the VF 5 Plus, especially when compared to gasoline cars.

In addition, Ms. Thu was very impressed with the car's ability to save energy when traveling in the city during rush hour. This is considered a nightmare for gasoline car owners when fuel consumption increases sharply, up to 9-10 liters/km (for A-class cars). She said that once she waited in a traffic jam for 2 hours and the battery only depleted by 2%. This is unimaginable for those who use gasoline cars to go to work during rush hour every day.

The female owner is also particularly satisfied with the maintenance of the VF 5 Plus. She said that the most recent periodic maintenance only cost more than 300,000 VND. If it were a gasoline vehicle, the corresponding figure would be several times higher. Moreover, when using an electric vehicle, Ms. Thu does not have to worry about the durability of the vehicle because the electric motor has a much simpler structure than a gasoline engine. At the same time, the rented battery is warranted throughout the entire usage period without any time limit.

Ms. Thu plans to continue making many long trips with VinFast electric cars.

“Using an electric car is much more cost-effective than a gasoline car. The more you drive, the cheaper it seems,” Ms. Thu commented.

After 9 months of riding the VF 5 Plus, Ms. Thu said she will continue to use the car for a long time. This female owner plans to take a trip across Vietnam and a trip to conquer the northern mountainous provinces in the near future.
