Global Petroleum Commercial Joint Stock Bank (GPBank) and Vikki Digital Bank (Vikki Bank) have both listed an interest rate of 5.65%/year for 6-month online deposits. This is the highest bank interest rate on the market today for 6-8 month deposits.
Another commercial bank that is also in the leading group in terms of 6-month deposit interest rates is MBV. This bank lists a deposit interest rate of 5.5%/year.
Bao Viet Commercial Joint Stock Bank (BaoViet Bank) came next when it announced the online savings interest rate for a 6-month term of 5.45%/year.
Banks: ABBank, VCBNeo and VietBank list bank interest rates of 5.4%/year for 6-month online savings deposits.
For the same term, the interest rate announced by NCB and Bac A Bank is 5.35%/year, while the mobilization interest rate at HDBank is 5.3%/year; BVBank is 5.15%/year; banks: KienLong Bank, LPBank, Viet A Bank all listed the interest rate at 5.1%/year.
OCB , MSB and PGBank all listed savings interest rates of 5%/year for a 6-month term.
The remaining banks listed interest rates below 5%/year for 6-month term deposits.
Of which, the lowest interest rate belongs to Vietcombank and SCB, only 2.9%/year for 6-9 month term. VietinBank and BIDV both listed interest rate 3.3%/year, while at Agribank it is 3.7%/year.
Since the beginning of June 2025, 3 banks have reduced deposit interest rates, including LPBank, Bac A Bank and VPBank. GPBank is the first bank to increase deposit interest rates up to this point.
