According to the latest interest rate schedule announced by LPBank (Loc Phat Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank) from March 27 and still applicable until May 2025, the savings interest rate range for individual customers depositing at the counter ranges from 3.0% to 5.3%/year, with interest paid at the end of the term.

Specifically, for short terms of 1 month and 2 months, the bank applies an interest rate of 3.0%/year. The group of terms of 3 to 5 months is raised to 3.2%/year, unchanged from the previous period.

From 6-month to 11-month terms, LPBank maintains the interest rate at 4.1%/year, applied equally to the medium-term group.

For savings from 12 to 16 months, customers will enjoy an interest rate of 5.0%/year. For terms of 18 months or more, the mobilization interest rate is increased to 5.3%/year, this is the highest rate currently for deposits at the counter.

In addition, for extremely short terms from 1 week to 3 weeks, the bank maintains a low interest rate of 0.1%/year, mainly serving the need for flexible short-term deposits.

LPBank offers attractive interest rates for online savings, ranging from 3.6% to 5.6% per year, applicable for terms from 1 month to 60 months.

Specifically:

1 month: 3.6%/year

2 months: 3.7%/year

3 - 5 months: 3.9%/year

6 - 11 months: 5.1%/year

12 - 16 months: 5.4%/year

From 18 months or more: apply the highest interest rate of 5.6%/year

This is a preferential interest rate that is superior to depositing at the counter, especially attractive to customers with medium and long-term savings. In addition, online deposit helps save time, is easy to track and convenient to transact via banking applications.

Compared to depositing at the counter, online savings at LPBank has a higher interest rate of 0.2 - 0.3 percentage points for most terms. In particular, customers choosing to deposit for 18 months or more will receive a maximum interest rate of 5.6%/year, instead of 5.3%/year at the counter.
