Improve cultural enjoyment for ethnic minorities

In the current situation, to promote the strength of the great national unity bloc, it is necessary to continue to mobilize the people to effectively carry out campaigns and patriotic emulation movements launched by Party committees, authorities, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, especially the Movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" with the key task of participating in building cultural families; cultural villages and residential groups, associated with promoting the implementation of the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", building typical residential areas and model residential areas.

With resources from Project 6, National Target Program 1719, Lam Dong province has supported cultural facilities and equipment for ethnic minority areas; improved cultural enjoyment for ethnic minorities associated with community tourism development. The province has organized the preservation of traditional festivals in localities; exploited and built products to serve tourism development through the restoration of the Nhou Phu Festival (Praying for a good harvest festival) in Dung K'No commune, Lac Duong district. Supported 12 outstanding artisans in the field of intangible cultural heritage to transmit, disseminate, organize traditional cultural activities and train the next generation. Organized classes to teach traditional musical instruments in the districts of Cat Tien, Lam Ha, Da Huoai, Da Teh, Bao Lam, Dam Rong...

Along with that, the province researches intangible cultural forms that are at risk of being lost, collects valuable artifacts in the transmission and promotion of material and spiritual cultural values ​​of the Co Ho, Mnong, etc. in the communes of Da Tong, Da Long, Da Mrong, Dam Rong district. Builds a traditional cultural model in Ta Hine commune, Duc Trong district; Supports activities for 67 traditional art troupes in ethnic minority villages in the districts of Cat Tien, Lam Ha, Da Huoai, Da Teh, Dam Rong, Di Linh... Organizes folk sports competitions; supports community bookcases; supports the construction of cultural and sports institutions in villages in ethnic minority areas...

With the system of cultural and sports institutions being increasingly invested in, upgraded and repaired, it has basically met the needs of people's activities and meetings. In addition, Lam Dong province has focused on re-organizing a number of traditional festivals, promoting good cultural values ​​imbued with national cultural identity. Localities in the province have regularly organized Cultural - Sports Festivals for communes in ethnic minority areas; organized programs to introduce folk arts of the Co Ho, Churu, and Ma ethnic groups; many traditional cultural activities in the locality have been widely organized, contributing to the restoration, preservation and maintenance of traditional folk games of ethnic groups.

The gong cultural space of ethnic minorities in Lam Dong province and the Central Highlands provinces has been recognized by UNESCO as a "representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity".

With the attention, leadership and direction of Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and organizations at all levels, the Movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" has increasingly gone into depth, efficiency and quality, people's awareness of the role and significance of the Movement has been enhanced. Ethnic minorities have actively responded and participated in building cultural titles such as: "Cultural family", "Cultural village, residential group", "Ward, town meeting civilized urban standards"... Thereby, attracting a large number of agencies, units, cadres, civil servants and workers to actively participate, creating a spreading effect and achieving remarkable results.

As in Dam Rong district, the movement to build and replicate the model of "Typical residential areas" and "Model residential areas" in the district has achieved many positive results. The whole district currently has 45/53 "Typical residential areas"; 96.2% of villages meet cultural standards; 85.5% of families are recognized as cultural families.

Preserve and promote the nation's fine traditional cultural values

Along with the effective implementation of Project 6, the work of caring for family life, educating, preventing and stopping acts of domestic violence, child abuse and violence, especially in remote areas and ethnic minority areas, has been focused on and effectively implemented. Cultural, artistic, physical education and sports movements at the grassroots level have been given attention, creating a vibrant and exciting atmosphere for all classes of people, contributing to preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values ​​of the nation. From there, the spirit of solidarity, mutual love and affection has been enhanced; civilized lifestyles in weddings, funerals, and building a cultural environment have been implemented. Backward customs and superstitions have been gradually pushed back; security, order and social safety have been maintained, the economy has been stable and has developed strongly.
