Launching the "Identity" contest - Cultural playground on digital platform

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) and the 80th anniversary of the Cultural Sector's Traditional Day (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025), the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism officially launched the "Identity" Contest - a creative playground, applying digital platforms and artificial intelligence to spread Vietnamese cultural values.

According to Decision No. 2789/QD-BVHTTDL dated August 4, 2025, the contest aims to encourage the community to learn, preserve and promote cultural identity, while promoting the image of the country and people of Vietnam to the world . This is a meaningful activity to celebrate two major events, creating an environment for people to express their love for their homeland through modern forms. Multimedia Communications Corporation (VTC) was assigned to preside over and coordinate with the Office of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize the "Identity" Contest.

Main content:

- Vodcast “Identity Dialogue” : Contestants produce short videos sharing stories, experiences and perspectives on Vietnamese cultural identity.

- "Understanding Identity" test : Test knowledge of history, culture, art, tourism and achievements of the cultural industry in the past 80 years.

Participants: Vietnamese citizens and foreigners living, studying and working in Vietnam, regardless of age or occupation.

Time - form :

- Receive Vodcast works: August 15 - 25, 2025.

- Voting for Vodcast and Knowledge Test: August 28 - September 6, 2025.

Prize structure (total value of 100 million VND, excluding prizes):

- Vodcast: 01 prize for the dialogue pair with the highest number of votes (20 million VND); 03 individual prizes (10 million VND/prize); prizes for officials of the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector (10 million and 5 million VND).

- Multiple choice: 01 First prize (10 million VND), 01 Second prize (5 million VND), 01 Third prize (3 million VND) and many secondary prizes.

The Organizing Committee hopes that the “Identity” contest will be a multi-dimensional forum, connecting traditional values ​​with contemporary culture, promoting community cohesion and arousing national pride.
