Every year, the Provincial Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front clearly identifies the implementation of Directive No. 05 -CT/TW of the Politburo as an important task, a "compass" for all actions. On that basis, the Party Committee promptly grasps and fully implements the directives, conclusions and plans of the superiors on the implementation of Directive No. 05.

The study of full-term and annual topics is organized seriously by the Front system with many flexible forms. 100% of cadres, party members and workers are given the opportunity to participate in studying full-term and annual topics in appropriate and effective forms through Long An Newspaper and Radio and Television ; direct and online study connected from the province's bridge.

The content of studying and following Uncle Ho's example does not stop at slogans but is included in the regular activities of the Party cell, is a criterion for evaluating and classifying Party members annually, and becomes an important basis for each cadre and Party member to review, practice and cultivate.

In addition, the content of studying and following Uncle Ho's example is selected by the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels to be implemented closely to the practical situation, associated with the key tasks of each year.

Each topic on enhancing responsibility for setting examples, fighting against ideological degradation, arousing aspirations for national development, caring for people's lives, building office culture, innovating working methods, etc. is a concrete step in transforming Uncle Ho's thoughts into practical, vivid and effective actions.

The construction of Great Unity houses has aroused the strength of the entire political system and has been widely supported by people from all walks of life. Thereby, many households in particularly difficult circumstances have peace of mind to work, produce, and stabilize their lives. During the past term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels has built 1,496 new Great Unity houses with a total cost of over VND 67.780 billion and repaired 359 Great Unity houses with a total cost of over VND 7.967 billion.

With the motto "The State and the People work together", over the past 5 years, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels has mobilized people in the province to agree and voluntarily contribute 496 billion VND; donated 1,124,607m2 ^of land and 19,728 working days, built 208 rural traffic bridges, worth 141.33 billion VND; at the same time, built and upgraded 337.3km of rural traffic roads, worth 197.92 billion VND.

In addition to studying theory, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels always has a consistent viewpoint: Learning from Uncle Ho is to follow him through concrete actions, through responsibility to set an example and a style close to the people, for the people, and respecting the people. The thematic training sessions are closely linked to the implementation of the Central Committee's resolutions, especially the Central Committee's Resolution 4 (term XI, XII, XIII) on Party building and rectification. In particular, the Vietnam Fatherland Front has promoted its role in social supervision and criticism, promptly receiving and reflecting the legitimate thoughts and aspirations of the people through channels of contact with voters, citizen reception, and dialogue with leaders. Many prominent and urgent issues have been promptly grasped, recommended and monitored to the end, contributing to strengthening the people's trust in the Party and the government.

In the past term (2019-2024), the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the province mobilized 170,656 billion VND from businesses, organizations and individuals (of which, the "For the Poor" Fund was 117,976 billion VND; in-kind items worth 52,680 billion VND) to help the poor, the disadvantaged, and those affected by natural disasters and epidemics overcome difficulties and hardships and rise up in life. In addition, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels presided over and coordinated with member organizations to carry out relief, humanitarian and charitable activities, and mobilized help for people in difficult circumstances and those affected by natural disasters, epidemics and hardships, with a total value of more than 1,000 billion VND.
