Announcing compensation plan for Provincial Road 830C upgrade project

On May 19, information from the People's Committee of Ben Luc district, Long An province, recently, the district organized the announcement and handover of the decision approving the detailed plan on compensation, support, and resettlement of each household, individual, and organization and the decision to reclaim land of the People's Committee of Ben Luc district to clear the ground for the project to upgrade and renovate Provincial Road (DT) 830C of Ben Luc district in Tan Buu, My Yen, Thanh Phu communes and Ben Luc town.

Existing Provincial Road 830C

According to the decision, the compensation, support and resettlement plan for the Project to upgrade and renovate DT 830C in Ben Luc district has a total land area of all types subject to recovery of more than ^79,964m2 .

The total cost of compensation, support, and resettlement when the state reclaims land in phase 1 is 870 billion VND for 918 households and individuals subject to site clearance. The compensation cost is allocated by the provincial budget.

In general, through the announcement of the compensation plan, the majority of people with land and assets subject to site clearance strongly agreed.

Previously, on March 25, 2025, the People's Committee of Long An province issued a decision to adjust the investment policy for the project to upgrade and renovate DT 830C.

According to this new decision, the project implementation period is adjusted to the period 2024-2027. The project has a total length of 9km, passing through the communes: Tan Buu, Thanh Phu, My Yen and Ben Luc town (Ben Luc district); the starting point intersects with Nguyen Huu Tho street in Ben Luc town and the end point is the border of Long An - Ho Chi Minh City.

The total investment of the project is 1,851 billion VND, of which the cost of site clearance is about 1,100 billion VND./.
