In addition to taking care of facilities, many grassroots trade unions at enterprises in Long An province also care about the spiritual life of workers and laborers. From there, workers and laborers have more useful playgrounds to exchange, learn and satisfy their passion.

Every month, the Trade Union of Atad Steel Structure Joint Stock Company (Duc Hoa district) organizes a collective birthday party for workers and laborers whose birthdays fall within the month.

At Atad Steel Structure Joint Stock Company (Duc Hoa district), the Trade Union has been playing a core role in building a friendly and cohesive working environment , contributing to improving the quality of human resources and sustainable business development.

Chairman of the Trade Union of Atad Steel Structure Joint Stock Company - Pham Nguyen Phi said: Right from the beginning of the year, the Trade Union has built and implemented specific models to improve the spiritual life of union members and workers. A typical model is the monthly collective birthday party model, contributing to the connection and creating a joyful and warm atmosphere among workers .

In addition, the Trade Union also encourages employees to exercise and play sports with regular soccer activities every Friday afternoon. Along with that, the morning exercise model maintained since 2019 has become a movement to improve the spiritual life of employees.

From 2023 to present, the Company's Trade Union has implemented the Employee Cultural Corner model, an open space with many rich activities such as chess, table tennis, reading, free coffee, etc. There is also a legal bookshelf to help employees access information on the Labor Code, the Social Insurance Law and related regimes and policies.

In addition, the Trade Union also closely coordinates with the Company's Board of Directors to organize annual sports events or tours based on direct dialogue with employees to choose the most suitable location and time. Although sometimes there are difficulties due to overlapping delivery times for partners, activities are still arranged and adjusted flexibly to ensure the rights and satisfaction of employees.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Duc (Atad Steel Structure Joint Stock Company) said: “Before, after work, everyone went home and rarely talked to each other. Since the activities started, the company atmosphere has become much more cheerful and cohesive. Every time I come to the Employee Culture Corner, I can relax and recharge after work. I feel that the company and the Trade Union really care about and value employees, so I am more attached and want to contribute long-term.”

In the coming time, the Trade Union of Atad Steel Structure Joint Stock Company will continue to maintain the implemented programs; at the same time, expand activities such as badminton, jogging and giving gifts to employees on holidays such as International Women's Day (March 8), International Children's Day (June 1), Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20),... The goal is not only to take care of the spirit but also to contribute to retaining employees, creating trust and long-term attachment to the enterprise.

“To achieve high results in production and business, first of all, we must have good welfare policies and create a working environment that employees consider as a second home. Only then will they feel secure in their work, improve their skills and make long-term contributions to the Company,” Mr. Pham Nguyen Phi added./.
