Deadly misconceptions when using incognito mode on the web
Many people believe that incognito mode makes them “invisible” online, but it is actually not as safe as it seems and can lead to serious consequences.

Incognito mode only prevents the browser from saving history, cookies, or form data on your personal device. However, it cannot hide your activity from ISPs, websites or network authorities.
Your IP address is still exposed, allowing advertisers and analytics tools to collect online behavior. A report from Wired and a lawsuit against Google in 2020 proved that incognito mode is not completely secure.
Unsuspecting users can easily access malicious websites, share sensitive information, and be tracked without knowing it. This mode also does not protect against keyloggers, malware, or online scams. To be extra safe, experts recommend using a VPN, blocking third-party cookies, and choosing a privacy-focused browser.
The truth is that incognito mode is only of limited use, and cannot replace comprehensive protection measures. Dear readers, please watch more videos : Many scams from AI technology are on the rise | News 141
