Quang Binh welcomes tourists on 'super luxury' train for the first time

Representatives of the Department of Tourism presented flowers to the group of tourists who arrived in Quang Binh by the luxury train Sjourney.

(PLVN) - On the journey to experience famous destinations in Vietnam such as Phan Thiet, Nha Trang, Hoi An, Hue, the tourist group on the "super luxury" train Sjourney stopped to visit Quang Binh.

Quang Binh Tourism Promotion Information Center has just welcomed the luxury tourist train Sjourney departing from Ho Chi Minh City and passing through famous destinations such as Phan Thiet, Nha Trang, Hoi An, Hue , stopping at Tho Loc station (Van Trach commune, Bo Trach district).

Representatives of the Department of Tourism and international visitors took souvenir photos at Tho Loc station, Bo Trach district.

In Quang Binh, the group will visit Thien Duong Cave and Nuoc Mooc Stream. After that, the group will rest and have dinner outdoors at the train station. At 9:00 p.m. the same day, the group will continue their journey towards Ninh Binh and the next destination.

In 2024, total revenue from tourists to Quang Binh is estimated to reach nearly 6,000 billion VND, an increase of 17.3% compared to 2023.

With a starting price of VND186 million per passenger, the super luxury train Sjourney is expected to attract more high-end tourists, contributing to raising the level of Vietnam's railway tourism.

Every week there will be 1 cross-Vietnam train departing from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City with the code SE61 and departing from Ho Chi Minh City with the code SE62.

According to a report from the Quang Binh Department of Tourism; in 2024, the number of tourists is estimated at about 5,200,000, an increase of 15.3% compared to 2023 and reaching 104% of the 2024 plan. Of which, domestic visitors are estimated at 5,053,900, an increase of 15.1% compared to 2023; international visitors are estimated at 146,100, an increase of 23.8% compared to 2023. Total revenue from tourism is estimated at 5,980 billion VND, an increase of 17.3% compared to 2023. In 2025, Quang Binh tourism strives to reach 6,000,000 visitors, of which international visitors will reach 160,000, with revenue reaching from 6,325 - 6,900 billion VND.
