During the historic April days, on all roads from the center of Lac Duong district to remote communes, or at schools, the national flag routes, flag routes, and brilliant flowers blend together in the heroic atmosphere to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Since mid-April, recess and mid-class physical education at Hung Vuong Secondary School in Lac Duong town have become more bustling and exciting. Hundreds of students are excited and joyful when standing under thousands of Party and national flags hanging all over the school yard. The bright red flags not only beautify the landscape, but also remind students of national pride and foster patriotism in each student. Hoang Chan Uy, a student in class 7A7, shared: “I feel proud when standing under the rows of red flags covering the school yard. I love my homeland and country even more and remember the merits of previous generations who sacrificed their blood and bones for national independence. I will try my best to study and practice to become a useful citizen for the country.”

Ms. Pham Thi Hue - Head of the Union of Hung Vuong Secondary School said: “The flag-raising activity not only shows deep gratitude to the generations of fathers and grandfathers who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, but is also an opportunity toeducate the tradition of patriotism, arousing national pride in each citizen in general and students in particular. In recent flag-raising ceremonies, the Union also promoted the meaning of the Party flag, the national flag, the meaning of flag-raising, especially to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country. And under the national flag, the students sang the "National Anthem" together, as if to remind each other of their love for their homeland, country, national pride, and their responsibility to their families and society. The students of the school were very excited, especially the 9th graders who wanted to take a yearbook photo under the flag”.

In the remote commune of Da Sar, in addition to the national flag route implemented by the commune's Youth Union during Youth Month, these days, the commune has just implemented the project "Flag and flower route" on Hamlet 3 road with a length of 500 m. Secretary of the Da Sar commune's Youth Union Lieng Jrang Ha Khuan said: "The route covered with flags and flowers is not only a brilliant color to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country, but also a symbol of patriotism, solidarity and steadfast belief in the path that the Party, Uncle Ho and generations of fathers and brothers have chosen. Thereby educating the tradition of patriotism and national pride for union members and youth in the commune. Proud to live in peace , even more precious and determined to preserve the achievements that many generations have sacrificed to protect, Da Sar's youth are willing to strive to study, contribute, and contribute to building their homeland to become more and more beautiful and civilized".

Previously, to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, Lac Duong District Youth Union presented 6 youth works "National Flag Road" to 6 communes and towns in the district. The youth work "National Flag Road" has a total value of over 30 million VND from the District Youth Union's budget and a part of socialization, with 500 national flags presented by Lac Duong District Youth Union to communes and towns. The construction of the youth work "National Flag Road" with national flags flying on the main roads of communes and towns in the district not only contributes to creating solemnity and beauty for local roads but also mobilizes people to properly hang the national flag on holidays, New Year, and to celebrate major national holidays.
