Through their innocent, cute and genuine expressions through pictures and video clips sent to the contest "Listen to your children talk" launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, many children in the province expressed their thoughts and aspirations about issues in life, especially about a happy, safe and equal family.
Send a message in each work
Born into a family of two brothers in Ea Kueh commune (Cu M'gar district), every day, Y Kien Rcam (12 years old) witnesses his mother working, busy in the kitchen, and his father after work often gathering to drink with friends. Y Kien's wish is for everyone to spend time sharing and gathering together. That is expressed through the work "Happy Family" with the image of a happy family in the middle, surrounded by descriptions of actions and behaviors that should not exist in family life. According to Y Kien, a happy family is a family without alcohol, beer, violence against children, no gender discrimination, not too focused on the phone, parents listening, understanding, and sharing with their children. His painting hopes to convey the message of maintaining a happy family.
Le Thi Quyen (Quang Hiep commune, Cu M'gar district) realized that there is still a situation of male chauvinism, domestic violence... That can even cause painful casualties. Quyen drew a picture with the content "Join hands to fight domestic violence", she hopes that everyone will join hands to protect and help women in such situations so that they can escape injustice and violence.

Being a disabled child herself, To Thi Duyen (Cu Prong commune, Ea Kar district) and her friends brought to the contest a video clip of more than 7 minutes long about the life and dreams of a disabled child. The story recreated in it is also Duyen's own story. She was born into a farming family of four siblings, a family with extremely difficult circumstances. Since birth, Duyen and her two sisters have had hearing and speech disabilities. In 2020, a traffic accident took away her mother. Those disadvantages and losses made Duyen become self-conscious and difficult to integrate into the community. Through the story in the video clip, Duyen wishes to have a complete and whole family; to be a normal person like everyone else...
Create a ripple effect in the community
