BBK - On the morning of June 23, the People's Council of Cho Don district, term XX, 2021 - 2026, held the 23rd session to carry out a number of contents under its authority.

The meeting approved reports assessing the implementation of socio -economic development, national defense and security tasks in the first 6 months of 2025; work reports of relevant agencies; activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district on participating in government building, recommendations to the People's Council and People's Committee of the district in the first 6 months of 2025.

Vote to pass resolutions.

Review draft submissions and approve resolutions such as: Resolution on adjusting the medium-term public investment plan from local budget sources for the period 2021-2025 (13th time). Resolution on adjusting the public investment plan from local budget sources in 2025 (4th time). Resolution on adjusting the local budget estimate for 2025.

Resolution on adjusting and supplementing the list of projects and capital investment plans to implement the National Target Programs for the period 2021-2025 (13th time). Resolution on adjusting and allocating capital investment plans to implement the National Target Programs in 2025 (5th time). Resolution on terminating the duties of the District People's Council delegates for the 20th term, 2021-2026.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Ma Thi Na, Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council acknowledged and commended the efforts of the delegates of the 20th District People's Council (term 2021 - 2026). Throughout the term, the delegates of the District People's Council have constantly upheld their sense of responsibility, participated in resolving policies and targets for local socio-economic development and performed well the supervisory function. Thereby, the District People's Council has made an important contribution to organizing the implementation of the set goals and tasks, consolidating solidarity and unity in the local political system.

From July 1, 2025, the 20th term of the District People's Council, 2021-2026 term, will officially end its activities. The delegates will then be assigned to work and live in 06 new communes. This is also the last session of the District People's Council. He hopes that, regardless of their positions, the delegates will always uphold their sense of responsibility, continue to carry out survey and supervision activities well; ensure the progress of the targets and resolutions of the People's Councils at all levels and the programs and projects being invested in the area, worthy of being representatives of the will and aspirations of the people./.
