Focus on construction of riverside road project

Despite facing many difficulties, taking advantage of the favorable weather conditions, contractors constructing the Ha Long - Hai Phong expressway connecting project to Dong Trieu City (riverside road) are concentrating human resources, vehicles, and adding construction sites to simultaneously deploy items; handling weak ground and determined to open the technical route this year.

After more than 2 years of construction, up to now 12/13 bridges in the project have completed the main structure.

Currently, contractors are focusing on handling the bridge approach road.

As for Song Uong Bridge connecting Uong Bi City with Quang Yen Town, due to its complex geology, interspersed with mud and many layers of caster caves, the treatment process takes a long time. Up to now, Song Uong Bridge has completed bored pile construction, poured concrete for 15/25 piers, and finished casting 30/80 girders.

The construction unit of box culverts across the road has reached nearly 80% of the total volume.

The intersection connecting to the center of Uong Bi city has been formed.

Currently, the contractor is focusing on treating weak ground by replacing soil, adding load, and installing wicks in the roadbed items.

Taking advantage of favorable weather, at construction sites, construction units focused on treating weak ground and were determined to open the technical route in 2025.
