According to information from the Central Foreign Affairs Commission on April 16, in recent days, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong has received many letters and congratulatory messages from many heads of state and leaders of political parties on the occasion of his birthday, April 14.

Among them are leaders of countries and parties from Laos, China, Cuba, Russia, Belarus, and the Dominican Republic.

In congratulatory letters and telegrams, leaders of countries and political parties congratulated Vietnam on its great and outstanding achievements in developing and building the country under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam , headed by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

The leaders affirmed that they will continue to work with the General Secretary to promote the continuous development of bilateral relations.

Lao General Secretary andPresident Thongloun Sisoulith emphasized that General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong "pays close attention to and actively contributes to nurturing the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two parties, two states and peoples of Laos and Vietnam, preserving that fine tradition forever green and everlasting."

General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping affirmed that he "highly values the China-Vietnam relationship and is ready to maintain strategic exchanges with General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to guide the building of a China-Vietnam Community of Shared Future in depth and substance."

First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of Cuba Miguel Diaz Canel emphasized that "the personal contributions of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong are decisive in leading the Communist Party of Vietnam on the path of building socialism in Vietnam."

Letters and telegrams of congratulations to the General Secretary also came from Russia. Russian President Vladimir Putin highly appreciated the invaluable contributions of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong "to the development of the Russia-Vietnam Comprehensive Strategic Partnership".

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and Chairman of the United Russia Party and Deputy Chairman of the Russian Federal Security Council Dmitri Medvedev especially emphasized the great contributions of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in strengthening the friendship, mutual understanding and comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.

Chairman of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov affirmed that "the General Secretary's entire life is closely linked to the formation, development, consolidation of ranks, growth and increasing prestige of the Communist Party of Vietnam in the international arena"./.
