On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (December 3), on the afternoon of November 27, Mr. Dau Thanh Tung, Vice Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, together with representatives of the Association for the Support of Persons with Disabilities, Orphans and Protection of Children's Rights; leaders of Hau Loc district visited and presented gifts to people with disabilities in Hau Loc district.

The delegation visited and presented gifts to the family of Mr. Pham Viet Hai in Thanh Phu village, Thanh Loc commune, who has two children with severe disabilities, Pham Viet Duong and Pham Thi Minh Dung; the family of Mr. Mai Van Hoan in Xuan Yen village, Phu Loc commune, whose son Mai Van Hao is severely disabled; Mr. Doan Van Khuong in Thuan Nhat village, Phu Loc commune, who is severely disabled; and Mr. Nguyen Van Linh in Bai Trung village, Hoa Loc commune, who is physically disabled.
Vice Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Dau Thanh Tung visited and presented gifts to Mr. Doan Van Khuong, a severely disabled person in Thuan Nhat village, Phu Loc commune.
At the places visited, the Vice Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee and the delegation kindly visited, encouraged, and presented gifts, each gift including gifts and 3 million VND in cash to the disabled and their families. At the same time, he hoped that the disabled and their families would always strive to overcome difficulties and illnesses, live positively, and rise up in life.
The Vice Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee also requested the Association for the Support of People with Disabilities, Orphans and Protection of Children's Rights and Hau Loc district to pay attention to fully and promptly resolving policies and regimes for people with disabilities in accordance with regulations; regularly support and encourage people with disabilities and their families to help them overcome difficulties and improve their lives.
