DTO - On the occasion of Buddha's Birthday 2025 - Buddhist calendar 2569, on May 11, the delegation of the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cao Lanh City visited and congratulated the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Dong Thap Province and Cao Lanh City.

Welcoming the delegation were Most Venerable Thich Tinh Triet - Member of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Dong Thap province; Most Venerable Thich Thien Xuan - Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Dong Thap province, Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Cao Lanh city, and other Venerables of the Executive Committee.
On behalf of the city leaders, Mr. Le Quang Trang - Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Cao Lanh City sent the best wishes to the Venerables, Venerables, Venerables and monks, nuns and Buddhists in Dong Thap province and Cao Lanh City for a joyful, peaceful and happy Buddha's birthday. Venerable Thich Tinh Triet - Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Dong Thap province informed about the preparations for the 2025 Buddha's Birthday - Buddhist calendar 2569, the main ceremony on the morning of May 12, 2025 (April 15 of the lunar calendar) and the Vesak Festival - the sacred festival of global Buddhism held in Ho Chi Minh City recently to spread the message of peace, compassion and wisdom to all humanity. The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Dong Thap province and Cao Lanh city will constantly preserve and promote compassion and build a more meaningful national solidarity bloc, operating in accordance with the teachings for the development of the Land of the Pink Lotus.
