Provincial People's Committee leaders work with Korean enterprises

(gialai.gov.vn) - On the morning of August 5, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Que and representatives of relevant departments and branches received and worked with Asia Urban Development Company Limited and MDA E&C Company Limited.

At the meeting, Mr. Song In-Soo - Vice President of MDA E&C Co., Ltd. said that Asia Urban Development Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Seoul, Korea) and MDA E&C Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Hanoi , Vietnam) are enterprises specializing in real estate investment and development, investment in urban and industrial infrastructure construction, and golf courses.

Realizing the potential and strengths of Gia Lai province in developing eco-tourism and high-end sports , the Korean enterprise proposed to invest in 2 international-class resort and golf course complex projects on an area of 550 hectares with a total investment of 60 million USD. The project aims to meet the physical training, entertainment and recreation needs of people in the province and neighboring areas; at the same time, attract international visitors such as professional athletes, businessmen, experts and tourists to work and travel in Gia Lai province.

At the meeting, the departments and branches discussed with Korean enterprises about the province's investment attraction and incentive policies; the bidding process and conditions for selecting investors; a number of favorable locations suitable to investors' needs to implement the project...

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Que said that in order to attract businesses to invest in the province, in addition to its strengths in geographical location and natural conditions, Gia Lai province is ready in terms of planning, clean land fund, open investment environment, connecting traffic infrastructure, etc. In the immediate future, the province is urgently preparing conditions to start the investment project to build runway No. 2 and synchronous works at Phu Cat Airport and the Quy Nhon - Pleiku Expressway Project.

Regarding the projects proposed by investors, Vice Chairman Nguyen Huu Que said that these projects are all included in the Gia Lai Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1750/QD-TTg dated December 30, 2023; at the same time, they are consistent with the socio-economic development orientation of the locality in the coming time.

Vice Chairman Nguyen Huu Que welcomed Korean enterprises to explore investment opportunities in the province; committed to creating all favorable conditions for investors to quickly implement the next steps to launch the project.
