Provincial People's Committee leaders received a delegation from the Nepal Peace and Solidarity Council

On December 15, Comrade Tong Quang Thin, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Union of Friendship Organizations of Ninh Binh province, had a courtesy meeting with the delegation of the Nepal Peace and Solidarity Council.

The delegation was headed by Mr. Rabindra Adhikari, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Nepal, Marxist-Leninist Unified Party, former Secretary General of the National Youth Federation of Nepal, and Chairman of the Council. Also receiving the delegation were leaders of a number of relevant departments and agencies.

Speaking at the reception, Mr. Tong Quang Thin, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, expressed his pleasure to welcome the delegation of the Nepal Peace and Solidarity Council to visit Ninh Binh. At the same time, he quickly informed the delegation about the highlights of history, culture, and some achievements in socio -economic development of the province. In which, he affirmed: Ninh Binh is an ancient land, with an important strategic geographical position, and was once the capital of the first centralized feudal state in Vietnam.

With thousands of historical relics, many famous landscapes, typically Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage, the first mixed heritage in Vietnam and Southeast Asia, Ninh Binh has become a tourist center of the country. Budget revenue ranks 15th out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide, the province has balanced its own budget, and has regulated the central budget.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee wished Mr. Rabindra Adhikari and his delegation an interesting and meaningful visit to Ninh Binh. He also hoped that this visit would help the delegation members understand more about the land and people of Ninh Binh, contributing to strengthening and enhancing the cooperative and friendly relationship between Vietnam and Nepal.

Expressing his joy and excitement when visiting Ninh Binh, Mr. Rabindra Adhikari thanked the provincial leaders for their warm and friendly welcome; hoping that in the coming time, the Union of Friendship Organizations of Ninh Binh Province and the Nepal Peace and Solidarity Council will strengthen cooperation in various fields, especially in cultural exchange. This will further promote the friendly cooperation between the two countries and with Ninh Binh province. Mr. Rabindra Adhikari also respectfully invited the provincial leaders to visit Nepal in the coming time.

On this occasion, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee respectfully presented Mr. Rabindra Adhikari and the delegation with a souvenir of Thai Binh Hung Bao coin.
