Vietnam Happy Fest 2025 will mark a happy Vietnam on the world map

The Happy Vietnam Festival originated from the "Happy Vietnam" contest - a media award on human rights where everyday moments of the country are captured with the loving eyes of tens of thousands of authors at home and abroad. Each photo is a unique perspective, a unique moment, an interesting story.

Since the first event in 2023, nearly 40,000 works have been submitted, each photo and each video is a breath of Vietnamese life: the smiles of workers, family meals, festive colors, and the warmth of handshakes.

The Organizing Committee announced information about the event "Vietnam Happy Fest 2025 - Happy Vietnam Festival"

In 2025, Vietnam made a strong impression when it jumped 8 places, ranking 46th in the world in the happiness rankings. This is not just a number but a testament to the positive energy spreading from people's lives, from humane policies and from the aspiration to build a fair, prosperous and loving country.

This year's event space is organized along Le Thai To - Hang Khay - Dinh Tien Hoang - Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square streets, where each step will take attendees through 13 experience points like 13 emotional rhythms.

These are: Happy Vietnam Exhibition; Digital interactive space; Photobooth and art exhibition areas; Happy tree - where wishes are sent; Happiness prism, Happiness map; Sending happiness to tomorrow; Outdoor activity "Health is happiness"; Happy announcer.

All of them blend into one big flow, telling the story: Happiness is present in every small moment of Vietnamese life.

At the Ly Thai To Monument area, the "Happiness Tree" will receive wishes, gratitude, and sharing from everyone. Each piece of paper hung up is like a seed of kindness, from which happiness is multiplied, spread, and touches the hearts of strangers. At the happiness tree, the organizers give away 80,000 souvenirs to the people and tourists.

"Vietnam Happy Fest 2025" is not only a cultural and artistic festival, it is an affirmation that: Vietnam's happiness is built from peace , from love, from solidarity, and from the simplest things. In each activity, the program also sends its attention to the Central region - where people across the country are sharing and supporting each other to overcome difficulties.

With the success of Happy Fest, Vietnam hopes to move towards organizing the annual "Vietnam Happy Day" - a new cultural mark, making Vietnam a destination of peace and humanity in the eyes of international friends.

Experiential activities at the event:

Vietnamese costume parade "Bach hoa ped hanh" (December 7): About 800 people in traditional costumes will walk through Hanoi's Old Quarter, as if carrying a thousand years of history shining in the midst of modernity - setting a record for the number of people wearing Vietnamese costumes in a parade.

Workshop "The Lens of Happiness" (December 6-7): Art lovers have the opportunity to listen to experts, practice photography, and find the beauty of ordinary life in each frame. All will create together, spread the beauty of visual arts and send the message "Happy Vietnam" to the community, towards the 2026 Happy Vietnam human rights photo and video contest.

Opening ceremony (December 6): The event was solemnly held at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square with the presence of leaders of Departments, Ministries and branches, opening a meaningful 3-day journey.

Mass wedding ceremony of 80 couples "Love is happiness" (December 6): 80 love stories, eighty journeys of happiness, holding hands and entering a common wedding ceremony where their hearts blend with the heart of the nation.

This is not just a wedding but a symbol of faith, peace and aspiration for love in an independent - free - happy Vietnam.

Happy Vietnam 2025 Awards Ceremony (December 6): Broadcast live on VTV4, honoring the most inspiring photos and videos about Vietnamese happiness.

Music night "Happy Vietnam" (December 7): An emotional ending with the participation of many young artists (singer Bui Cong Nam, singer Lam Bao Ngoc...) open free of charge to locals and tourists
