Lao Cai inaugurated provincial road 163 with Noi Bai-Lao Cai expressway

On the morning of September 27, at Quy Mong commune, the People's Committee of Lao Cai province held an inauguration ceremony for the road connecting Provincial Road 163 with Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway. This is a project to welcome the 1st Congress of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee (term 2025 - 2030).

This is a level II traffic project, with a route length of more than 6km, with a total investment of 362.8 billion VND, from the state budget.

To complete, construction units dug and filled more than 850 thousand cubic meters of soil and rock; used more than 25 thousand cubic meters of crushed stone, 16 thousand cubic meters of concrete, more than 7,300 ^{cubic meters of} asphalt concrete... In addition, 27 hectares of land belonging to 394 households were recovered, of which 16 households had to be resettled.

The project has been completed and is eligible to be put into operation and use in time to welcome the 1st Congress of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030. Contributing to promoting the advantages of the Noi Bai-Lao Cai expressway, reducing travel time to the expressway for communes on the right bank of the Red River.

At the same time, complete the regional traffic system, facilitate freight transport, develop tourism, attract investment, ensure national defense and security, create the premise to expand urban space for socio-economic development on the right bank of the Red River.
