The 2023/2024 UEFA Champions League group stage will consist of 6 matches taking place from September 2023 to December 2023. The 16 teams that have qualified for the knockout stage (including 8 group winners and 8 group runners-up) will be drawn into the round of 16 according to the rule that 2 teams from the same group and the same national championship cannot meet each other.
The third-placed teams in the eight groups move on to the knockout stage of the Europa League.
