The two teams will compete at 7:00 p.m. tonight, November 18, at Thong Nhat Stadium (HCMC) to determine the top spot in the group.

Evaluating the opponent, coach Nguyen Hong Pham said Melbourne City is a strong team, with good physique, even fitness and tenacious playing style.

Coach Nguyen Hong Pham also said that Ho Chi Minh City Club always maintains the tradition of respecting all opponents, and will carefully analyze strengths and weaknesses to come up with appropriate countermeasures.

“Our goal is to deliver a good, fair and beautiful match. This is also an opportunity for the players to gain experience, especially those preparing for the SEA Games,” said coach Nguyen Hong Pham.

In the quarter-finals, the team beat Abu Dhabi Country Club from the UAE 5-4, then lost 0-2 to Wuhan Jiangda Club (China) in the semi-finals.
