On August 5, the Provincial Federation of Labor held a conference to contribute comments on the draft political report of the 17th Provincial Party Congress.

At the conference, delegates basically agreed on the draft political report to be submitted to the 17th Congress of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee.

To contribute to the completion of the report, delegates gave comments on a number of contents such as: Supplementing the role of the labor force in the seafood processing, aquaculture and agricultural sectors, especially the role of workers in the non-state sector; needing to more deeply acknowledge the results of innovation in leadership methods and administrative reforms related to workers and trade unions; supplementing the results of the assessment of coordination between trade unions and the government in vocational training, supporting workers, especially in the post-Covid-19 context; the role of trade union organizations in criticizing and participating in State management...

In addition, delegates also contributed opinions on specific targets in each field of the implementation results of the Resolution of the 16th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025; at the same time, proposed and recommended supplements and adjustments to a number of targets, tasks and solutions in the coming term, as well as implementing key programs and breakthroughs in accordance with the current situation.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation Huynh Hoang Anh emphasized: The conference results clearly demonstrated the trust and enthusiasm of cadres, union members and workers for the draft documents of the 17th Congress of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee. The delegates' comments will be compiled and sent to the Provincial Document Subcommittee.
