In particular, it is necessary to focus on promoting cooperation between localities, especially border provinces.

For the younger generation, Mr. Phan Anh Son emphasized the need to create a clear highlight in educational cooperation to enhance understanding and foster the special solidarity between Vietnam and Laos. The Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations plans to organize a reception for a delegation of Lao students - who are studying at Lao universities and intend to work in state agencies, social organizations or businesses - to exchange with Vietnamese youth and students with similar orientations.

In addition, he proposed expanding cooperation between universities of the two countries not only in teaching Vietnamese and Lao languages or exchanging scholarships, but also in research and exchanging experiences in national governance. The Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations is ready to coordinate with the Lao Embassy in Vietnam, the Laos-Vietnam Friendship Association, the Lao Peace and Solidarity Committee... to build cooperation programs with their own mark, contributing to deepening people-to-people relations between the two countries in the new period.
