Within the framework of the program, on June 23, 2025, the delegation of Central Youth Union leaders visited and worked with the Board of Directors of Nonghyup University and paid a courtesy call to Mr. Lee Jong-wook, Executive Vice President of Nonghyup Future Innovation Department.

At the working sessions, the two sides discussed the youth situation and activities of youth and student organizations in Vietnam, wishing to promote exchanges, coordination and training between Vietnamese and Korean youth.
The two sides expressed their delight at actively coordinating to build and for the first time implement the Vietnam - Korea Advanced Agriculture Training and Youth Exchange Program 2025 in Korea.
Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association Nguyen Minh Triet proposed that through this training program and field trip, the two sides could consider signing a cooperation agreement to target the right young farmers and other potential cooperation areas such as finance, credit, etc.
In order to help the delegation better understand the main contents of the program, Mr. Kim Dong-hwan, General Director of the Vietnam - Korea Youth Exchange Center, and representatives of some specialized departments of Nonghyup organized an orientation session, introducing the program and general information about Nonghyup. With the initial orientation and suggestions, the delegates of Vietnamese rural youth showed special interest in specialized agricultural product import and export, learning advanced technology in agriculture.
During the tour, the delegation visited and listened to an introduction to the Agricultural Museum at Nonghyup headquarters, thereby having a clearer view of the development process and the fundamental nature of agriculture in Korea and visited Gyeongbokgung Palace to learn about the history of its formation, unique architecture and the importance of the Palace in the spiritual life of the Korean people.
