The patient is Mr. Dang Van Tang (born in 1996, from Long Hai commune, Phu Quy district, Binh Thuan province), a crew member of fishing boat BTh 96994TS.

The patient was admitted to the hospital with a wound on the left side of the neck, about 1x2 cm in size, with jagged edges, a wide base, a torn sternocleidomastoid muscle, and a small hard foreign object (about 1mm). According to the patient, at about 4am that same day, while diving to catch fish, he was suddenly attacked by a bream, which stabbed him in the neck, causing injury.
Upon admission, the patient was conscious, showing signs of wound pain and mild pain in the left chest area. Vital signs recorded: pulse 97 beats/minute, temperature 37ºC, blood pressure 137/86 mmHg, SpO2 at 85%.
Doctors at the infirmary quickly treated the wound by making a large incision, cleaning, removing foreign objects, stopping the bleeding, administering fluids, antibiotics, injecting tetanus antitoxin and painkillers. The patient is currently being monitored and actively treated, his health is stable and progressing well.
