The training course is part of the Project "Enhancing capacity to implement Global Health Security in the Southern region, Vietnam, period 2021-2025", taking place over 3 days (from June 25-27), with 44 trainees from provincial and district hospitals of Ca Mau and Bac Lieu provinces attending.

Before the training session, trainees take a test to assess their input results.

The training content focuses on improving the capacity of assessors, the assessment process and assessment methods, establishing internal assessment plans and programs, instructions on using the criteria set, instructions on using the electronic toolkit, etc.

MSc.Dr. Dang Thuy Trang, Deputy Director of Ca Mau Provincial General Hospital, delivered the opening speech of the training course.

In her opening speech, MSc.Dr. Dang Thuy Trang, Deputy Director of Ca Mau General Hospital, emphasized: “Improving the quality of testing is extremely important for laboratory work, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results, thereby contributing to improving the quality of diagnosis and treatment. At the same time, it affirms the prestige and professional capacity of the laboratory in the health system.”

At the end of the course, students will be awarded a certificate of training in "Internal assessment of medical laboratory quality management" issued by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (USCDC).
