Up to now, many Japanese and Vietnamese enterprises in Dong Nai have been connecting and cooperating in technology and product transfer, contributing to promoting the development of supporting industries in Dong Nai.

The connecting role of the Coordinator Team

The Coordinating Team has had many effective activities in searching for and supporting trade and cooperation connections. The most successful of these is the cooperation connection between Japanese and Vietnamese enterprises in transferring and supplying production equipment and technology. Based on the equipment and technology that have been met, Japanese enterprises will purchase auxiliary products manufactured by Vietnamese enterprises to serve the production needs of their products.

As one of the enterprises receiving support products from Vietnamese enterprises, Tiger Vietnam Company Limited has had cooperation relationships and purchased support products from Vietnamese enterprises.

Dong Nai currently has 285 projects with investment capital from Japanese enterprises, with a total investment capital of nearly 6 billion USD. Japan currently ranks 2nd in the number of projects and 3rd in total foreign investment capital in Dong Nai. Japanese enterprises have contributed significantly to socio -economic development, creating jobs for workers; promoting the development of local industry, trade, and services, especially the supporting industry of Dong Nai province in recent times.

Human Resources Director of Tiger Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Tiger VN) Le Thi Ngoc Trang said that the connection between Tiger VN and enterprises supplying auxiliary products through the introduction and connection of the Coordinator Team has helped enterprises more conveniently in finding suitable auxiliary products, meeting the production needs of the company, while increasing the production efficiency of the company.

In order to connect and cooperate between Dong Nai and Japanese enterprises sustainably and effectively, in recent times, the Coordinating Group has organized trade conferences between Vietnamese and Japanese enterprises. Through the conferences, many enterprises from Dong Nai and Japan have met, discussed and signed memorandums of understanding, agreements, cooperation contracts, etc.

Improve the effectiveness of cooperation and transfer

Since 2020, Dong Nai has organized many conferences. Through these conferences, hundreds of Vietnamese and Japanese enterprises have been connected. After the conference, cooperative relationships have developed sustainably due to mutual interaction, and enterprises are no longer too dependent on supplies from other countries and territories.

Many Japanese enterprises highly appreciate the role of the Coordinating Group. A typical example is the connection between Japanese enterprises and Dong Nai with trade and supply of goods requested by Japanese enterprises. The Coordinating Group is highly appreciated by the Japanese Government , contributing to the development of supporting industries in Vietnam, restructuring the supplier network for Japanese companies.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Duc, Deputy Head of the Coordinating Group, said that the Coordinating Group is responsible for connecting with businesses to learn from and promote the development of supporting industries together. Over the years, the Coordinating Group has created an environment for Vietnamese businessmen to meet and connect with Japanese businesses and achieved impressive results. More importantly, in addition to promoting trade connections to develop supporting industries, this is also an opportunity to enhance the position of Vietnamese businesses through training programs in Japan.

Assessing the connection between Japanese and Vietnamese enterprises, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Minh Dung said that recently, with the activities of the Coordinating Team, many Japanese enterprises have been received and had their questions answered during the implementation of investment procedures such as investment procedures and work permit issuance. Japanese enterprises are registered to work to learn about information and investment opportunities in Dong Nai.
