National Residential Area Mass Arts Festival takes place in An Giang province

(CT) - The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just issued a plan to organize the National Residential Area Mass Arts Festival in 2025.

The festival takes place from November 15 to 19, 2025 in Long Xuyen ward, An Giang province, with the participation of mass art troupes from provinces and cities (selected from typical residential area representatives). Each competing team builds a program of no more than 25 minutes, including 2 parts. The "Shining Journey - Connecting residential area culture" part introduces typical examples of individuals or groups in movements to build cultural life, new rural areas, and civilized urban areas in residential areas. The Arts part is a comprehensive art program: singing, dancing, music, and scenic songs, ensuring that the performance has the typical colors of the locality.

At the end of the festival, the Organizing Committee will award souvenir cups to participating units; award A and B prizes for 2 competitions and reward groups and individuals with outstanding achievements at the festival.

The festival contributes to the implementation of the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" with depth, quality, effectiveness and practicality; honoring residential areas and typical collectives and individuals. At the same time, this is an opportunity to discover and replicate advanced examples, models, good and creative practices of typical cultural residential areas, encourage the mass cultural and artistic movement at the grassroots level; contributing to the preservation and promotion of traditional cultural values.
