To realize the goal of the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Congress Resolution for the 2020-2025 term, which is to make tourism a key economic sector, in the coming time, Binh Thuan will continue to exploit and maximize the effectiveness of development linkage programs such as: the Binh Thuan - Ho Chi Minh City - Lam Dong tourism development triangle; the South Central region, the Southeast region, the Mekong Delta, the Central Highlands… while expanding linkages with other localities, creating many unique products, and increasing the experience for tourists.

Linking and cooperating for mutual development is both an inevitable trend and an opportunity and a challenge for localities to maximize their potential and advantages in developing tourism into a key economic sector. Recognizing this trend, the province is striving to link with localities that have advantages and potential in tourism to expand its tourism space and gradually become a tourism hub of the country.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province, the tourism development cooperation program "Lam Dong - Binh Thuan - Ho Chi Minh City" with the theme "Da Lat Flowers - Mui Ne Beach - Ben Thanh Market" has created a dynamic tourism development triangle linked to many attractive tours that are loved and chosen by many tourists as their holiday itinerary for themselves and their families. To date, the tourism development cooperation program has contributed to strengthening tourism promotion and marketing activities; improving the quality of tourism products, attracting investment, effectively exploiting the tourism potential of the localities; strengthening the relationship between the state and businesses in the localities; exploiting the market, and promoting growth in the number of tourists traveling between the localities…

Based on that foundation, with the motto "putting the tourist experience at the center," the Ta Nang - Phan Dung trekking route connecting Lam Dong and Binh Thuan provinces will create connectivity and facilitate the policies and mechanisms of both localities. At the same time, the coordination of the Tourism Association and the active participation of the tourism and service businesses in both localities will contribute to elevating the destination, creating an attractive "Journey of the Sea and Flowers," and promoting tourism development throughout the region.

“The ‘Journey of Sea and Flowers Connecting Lam Dong and Binh Thuan’ marks an important development for both provinces. This tour is not only a journey to explore nature but also an opportunity to highlight the precious heritage and local culture of the region; contributing to diversifying tourism products and attracting tourists… Each locality has its own destinations and products. However, when implementing regional linkages, product linkages, and service linkages… it will create unique products and provide more services and amenities, bringing satisfaction to tourists when they have the need and time to experience this product chain. Therefore, in tourism activities, Binh Thuan always seeks linkages to increase products and destinations for mutual development.”

Tourism in Binh Thuan is currently recovering and developing quite well. It is estimated that in 2023, Binh Thuan will welcome over 8 million visitors, including approximately 220,000 international tourists. Total revenue from tourism is expected to be around 19,500 billion VND.
