On the coastal road Thach Khe - Vung Ang, through Yen Hoa commune early this morning
(August 25), some casuarina trees were broken and fell. Yen Hoa Commune People's Committee promptly mobilized forces to cut the trees and ensure traffic on the route.

In Tan Hai village, Thien Cam commune, some roads were flooded.



At the fishing port and storm shelter area of Cua Hoi - Xuan Pho (Dan Hai commune), boats have entered safe shelters. However, some people are still subjective and stubbornly stay on their boats.

Cua Hoi Border Control Station - Lach Ken Border Post called on and requested fishermen to go ashore to avoid the storm and not stay on boats to avoid unfortunate incidents.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 7:00 a.m. on August 25, storm No. 5 had winds of level 14, gusts of level 17, causing strong winds, big waves, widespread rain of 200-400mm, some places over 600mm. Ha Tinh has banned the sea since August 23, all nearly 4,000 vehicles with more than 10,800 workers have taken shelter. The province supported 6.9 billion VND for 69 communes, established a front-line command center, mobilized thousands of military forces, police, militia, and youth to help people evacuate, reinforce houses, and harvest agricultural products.
Ha Tinh has basically and fully implemented plans and solutions to respond to storm No. 5. Accordingly, the whole province has completed the evacuation of people in 17 coastal communes and wards to safe shelters; ensuring necessities and facilities at evacuation points. Currently, we are continuing to mobilize maximum human resources, material resources and means to reinforce the Hoi Thong dike in Dan Hai commune...
