Liveshow Revival calls for support of nearly 2.4 billion VND for Lao Cai

After the devastating Typhoon Yagi , many houses and terraced fields that were once brilliant yellow are now just desolate lands, with fallen rice plants and scattered stubble. However, the people of the highlands did not give up, they worked together to rebuild their houses and cultivate each piece of land with the strong belief that life would soon be restored.

Understanding the pain and resilience of the people here, General Director Ho Hoai Anh, Music Director Pham Viet Tuan, and musician Mars Anh Tu mobilized a large group of artists from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to Lao Cai to bring songs and funny skits to perform for the people to enjoy.

Not only participating with hit songs such as: Mot Vong Viet Nam, Ngay Chua Gioi Bao, Canh Chim Phuong Hoang, divo Tung Duong also expressed his emotions when participating in a program. He said: "Artists have the desire to bring their songs to ease the pain that the people of Lao Cai have to endure. This is a wonderful performance that we will remember for the rest of our lives."

The appearance of singer Hoa Minzy also captivated the audience when she performed the songs Thi Mau, Roi Bo, Bat Tinh Yeu Len. The female singer also used her own money from her fashion business to give gifts to 155 households in Simacai district during her trip to Lao Cai to participate in the program "Revival".

In addition, singers Luu Huong Giang, Quang Ha, Khac Viet, Mars Anh Tu, MTV group, Vy Oanh, Sen Hoang My Lam, Vu Thang Loi, Nguyen Ngoc Anh, To Minh Duc, Anh Quan Idol, Le Minh Ngoc, Vu Duy Khanh, Tuan Cuong Master, artist group Duy Nam, Dung Hon, Thai Duong also contributed to the program with their impressive songs and skits.

Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee auctioned 5 works of art named: The Golden Color of Resurrection, After the Flood, The Feeling of the Highlands and The Day of Reunion and collected the auction amount of 620 million VND. In which, MC Thanh Van Hugo's husband - the host of the Resurrection night with MC Anh Tuan successfully auctioned the painting Peace for 80 million VND.

Sharing after the show, General Director Ho Hoai Anh said: "All the artists and crew are wholeheartedly devoted to Lao Cai - the place that was heavily damaged by storm Yagi without taking a single salary. About an hour before the show, the crew was very worried because about 20km from the show's location, it was pouring rain.

When the show started, it started to rain. The crew was quite nervous but they all wished that since they were doing this show for charity, the sky would show mercy and indeed after only 4-5 performances, the sky cleared up until the end of the show. Nearly 10,000 audiences from Lao Cai and neighboring provinces seemed to stay until after 11pm to support the artists.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Linh - Representative of the Lao Cai Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, on behalf of the leaders and people here, sent his thanks to the artists participating in the show "Resurrection". He said: "The singers and artists coming to Lao Cai to perform enrich the spiritual life of the people of Lao Cai. Besides, the material resources at the program will also help people stabilize their lives soon".

According to Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Linh, the amount of support from everyone within the framework of the program is nearly 2.4 billion VND. Accordingly, the account number of the Lao Cai Fatherland Front Committee will continue to be open until 24:00 on October 20 for everyone to join hands to support the people of Lao Cai.
