Nguyen Quang Anh - a familiar face to television audiences through many roles, just had a meeting with the media after winning First Prize in the Audience Choice category of the Talent Rendezvous 2025 competition.

The special "backer" for Quang Anh

The event was attended by singer Trong Tan and his wife, artist Thanh Thanh Hien, actress Thanh Huong and 12 contestants of Talent Rendezvous . In particular, the two people who always support Quang Anh are his parents - Meritorious Artist Ngoc Quyen, lecturer of traditional musical instruments (moon lute) and his mother - Ms. Mai Huong, lecturer of Philosophy. Both are currently working at the Vietnam National Academy of Music.

A memorable moment at the party was when Meritorious Artist Ngoc Quyen suddenly stepped onto the stage to play the drums to entertain his son. Meritorious Artist Ngoc Quyen said: "Quang Anh has been independent since he was young, his artistic nature was revealed early. Our family has always supported and accompanied him on his artistic path. Hopefully after this victory, he will be more confident."

Quang Anh's mother once advised her son to try the competition as a way to experience it, and throughout that journey, both husband and wife were strong spiritual supporters: "I always encouraged my son to see this as a game, without pressure about the results. The important thing is that he can live with his passion," shared Ms. Mai Huong - Quang Anh's mother.

Coming from an artistic family and having attracted attention in many TV series such as Ve Nha Di Con, Chieu Ngang Qua Pho Cu, Gia Dinh 4.0 … Quang Anh shared that this award is a turning point for him to boldly "escape" the role of an actor to sing, gradually building the image of an all-round artist.

"This victory is thanks to the love of the audience, the support of my family and my relentless efforts. Since I was young, I have been very proactive in pursuing my passion. Although I am not the best, I am always confident because behind me there is a solid foundation of my family and people who always believe in me," Quang Anh shared.

He also said that he will soon release personal music products. Currently, he has composed more than 10 songs and introduced two compositions in Talent Rendezvous, which received positive feedback from the judges and the audience. He revealed that this is the right time to break out of his comfort zone and affirm his own mark as a singer - songwriter - performer.

Ni Ni - a contestant of Talent Rendezvous humorously shared: "Mr. Quang Anh is a funny, friendly person and always brings laughter to everyone."

Thanh Thuy - Champion of Talent Rendezvous also gave special praise: "Quang Anh is someone who is always ready to support his teammates. Once I was criticized for not wearing shoes that matched the song, he did not hesitate to lend me a pair of newly bought shoes. That is something I always appreciate."

Many artists present at the event believed in Quang Anh's potential. Singer Trong Tan shared: "I have witnessed Quang Anh's growth. He has the ability, passion and good foundation. The love of the audience is a valuable motivation for Quang Anh to continue to shine."
