Carrying out the task of reviewing, building a list and proposing projects calling for investment in the province, the Department of Planning and Investment (DPI) has compiled a list of 119 projects calling for investment in the province. Of which, 58 projects have been approved for investment calling decisions and 61 new projects calling for investment in the fields of industrial park development, industrial clusters (ICs), markets, etc.
The project to invest in building and operating infrastructure for the Hoang Lau industrial cluster (Tam Duong) is one of seven projects proposed to be removed from the province's list of projects calling for investment attraction.
Of the 58 projects that have been approved for investment attraction, the Department of Planning and Investment proposed that the Provincial People's Committee remove 7 projects from the list, including the 5-star hotel complex project and entertainment area in Nam Viem ward (Phuc Yen); the project to invest in the construction of the LRT internal railway line in Vinh Phuc city; the project to invest in the construction and business of infrastructure in Hoang Lau commune industrial park and the clean water supply project at Hop Thinh industrial park (Tam Duong); the projects of Dong Van industrial park, Investment in the construction and business of infrastructure in Yen Phuong industrial park and the project to build a clean water supply pipeline system in Yen Lac district.
To improve the effectiveness of investment attraction, the Department of Planning and Investment proposes that the Provincial People's Committee assign departments, branches and localities to urgently review and adjust the approved list of investment calling projects; supplement information, rebuild the list of new investment calling projects of the province to suit, in line with the strengths of the province, each locality or missing field. Thereby ensuring the most favorable conditions for organizations, businesses and individuals to participate in project investment in the province.
