Foreign Language University ( Hanoi National University) announces admission based on certificates combined with high school academic results, applicable to students studying at high schools under Hanoi National University or specialized students of specialized high schools at provincial and municipal levels.

At the same time, candidates must have good academic results for all 3 years of high school (academic performance ranked excellent or higher) and achieve a minimum score of 8 points in Math or a minimum score of 15 points in 2 subjects (Math, Literature) in the 2025 high school graduation exam.

Candidates use the certificate converted to a 10-point scale, calculate a coefficient of 2, combine it with the results of 6 high school semesters of the remaining 2 subjects in the admission combination, then convert it to a 30-point scale and add priority points according to regulations.

The scoring formula is as follows: Admission score = [(Subject 1 score + Subject 2 score + (Certificate conversion score to 10 x 2 scale))/4 x 3] + bonus points + priority points (if any).
