Tornado swept through Hai Phong, many houses were damaged

On October 7, information from the People's Committee of Chu Van An Ward (Hai Phong City) said that a tornado had just appeared in the commune, causing damage to many houses, trees and other properties.

Specifically, at around 4am the same day (October 7), a tornado suddenly swept through Chu Van An commune, accompanied by heavy rain. The tornado blew away many roofs of houses, some houses had their surrounding walls collapsed, many electric poles and trees were also knocked down.

Among them, the corrugated iron roof of the Chi Minh Primary and Secondary School (Chu Van An Commune) was severely damaged. In addition, a number of livestock farms and production warehouses of enterprises were also blown away by the storm.

Immediately after the tornado occurred, the People's Committee of Chu Van An ward established two working groups to conduct field inspections and reviews. Currently, the work of inventorying the damage caused by the tornado is continuing.
