Long An merges Newspaper and Radio and Television Station, announces key personnel decisions

(CLO) On March 17, in Long An , Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai, chaired the Conference to announce important decisions on personnel work.

The main content of the conference was the decision to merge Long An Newspaper and Long An Radio and Television Station into Long An Newspaper and Radio and Television Station, effective from April 2, 2025. This new agency will be a public service unit under the Provincial Party Committee, acting as a mouthpiece and information bridge between the Party, government and people.

The Provincial Party Standing Committee also announced the decisions to appoint key personnel of Long An Newspaper and Radio and Television Station. Mr. Le Hong Phuoc, former Director of Long An Radio and Television Station, holds the position of Editor-in-Chief. The positions of Deputy Editor-in-Chief were given to Ms. Le Thi Thanh Tuyen, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Dung (former Deputy Director of the Station) along with Mr. Chau Hong Kha and Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen Thu (former Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Long An Newspaper).

Mr. Phung Tan Tu, former Editor-in-Chief of Long An Newspaper, was transferred to the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department and appointed to the position of Deputy Head of the Department.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai congratulated the appointed officials and asked the new leadership of Long An Newspaper and Radio and Television Station to build a spirit of solidarity, promote the application of digital technology , and respond to the trend of multimedia communication. This new agency will operate with 4 types of press: print, electronic, television and radio.
