Nationwide Robotics Competition Launched for Singapore Spot

According to a press release from the Danish Embassy in Vietnam on July 30, the robot competition gathered 1,235 students selected from 278 schools across the country. The students competed in the final round in two regions: the North (Hai Phong City) and the Central & Southern regions (Ho Chi Minh City).

On July 28-29, the Northern regional final round took place at Vietnam Maritime University (Hai Phong City), gathering 535 students representing 174 primary, secondary and high schools across the northern provinces.

From August 5-6, the best teams from the two regions will continue to enter the national final round in Ho Chi Minh City to win the right to represent Vietnam to attend the international World Robot Olympiad (WRO) with more than 100 countries in Singapore in November.

Entering its 12th year in Vietnam, the ROBOTACON WRO 2025 competition with the theme " The Future of Robots " encourages students to explore the role of robots in building a sustainable, intelligent and humane future.

The ROBOTACON WRO 2025 competition encourages students to explore the role of robots in building a sustainable, intelligent and humane future.

The challenges are designed to inspire creativity, programming thinking and the application of technology to solve real-world problems – from automation, environment, education to healthcare.

The main message of the competition is: "Robots are not just tools, but companions that help humans solve global challenges."

The representative of the Danish Embassy, ​​Commercial Counselor Lasse Pedersen Hjortshøj, said that he was deeply inspired when witnessing the students competing with the spirit of learning and exchanging, and expressed his joy that the competition brought many valuable experiences and lessons to the students.
