The reason why 'Heroic Bloodline' made part 2 after nearly 20 years

The character nicknamed "white swallow of Ca Mau" is Mr. Nguyen Chanh Minh, father of actor Nguyen Chanh Tin, grandfather of Charlie Nguyen, Johnny Tri Nguyen. He recruited many talented people to form a resistance force against the French called the Ha Tien Front. His elite army attacked French soldiers at night, and during the day, they disappeared into the civilians, causing confusion among the enemy throughout the Southwest. Once, he organized an attack on a Japanese company in Ha Tien, then took the rice warehouse to distribute to the people in Rach Gia. Legend has it that he was nicknamed "white swallow of Ca Mau" because he often wore white clothes and had beautiful, graceful martial arts moves.

The two main actors are Ngo Thanh Van and Johnny Tri Nguyen.

The movie Heroic Blood created a big buzz when it was released in 2007. The film tells the story of the anti-French uprising in the 1920s. The film won the Silver Lotus Award at the 15th Vietnam Film Festival and the Grand Jury Prize at the Los Angeles Asia-Pacific Film Festival.
