Quang Ninh has 3 more national 5-star OCOP products

Participating in the evaluation and classification of potential 5-star OCOP products at the Central level this time, there are 82 applications for evaluation and classification of 5-star OCOP products from provinces and cities across the country, divided into 4 product groups, including: 62 products in the Food group; 14 products in the Handicraft group; 5 products in the Medicinal herbs and medicinal products group; 1 product in the Community tourism services and tourist attractions group of 20 provinces and cities. Of which, there are 8 provinces and cities in the Northern region and 12 provinces and cities in the Southern region.

In this period, Quang Ninh province registered 4 OCOP products to participate, including: 3 products in the Handicraft and Fine Arts group: Lucky vase; Lucky vase of Tai Phat; Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter glazed flower vase set of Quang Vinh Ceramics Company Limited Branch and 1 product in the Food group: Binh Lieu vermicelli of Binh Lieu Trading and Service Joint Stock Company.

After working seriously, thoroughly and objectively, the National OCOP Council has selected 47/82 products from 20 provinces and cities nationwide to achieve 5 stars. Of which, Quang Ninh province has 3/4 products achieving 5 stars at the national level this time including: Lucky vase; Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter flowing glaze flower vase set of Quang Vinh Ceramics Company Limited Branch and Binh Lieu dong vermicelli of Binh Lieu Trading and Service Joint Stock Company.

Previously, according to the evaluation and classification results of the National OCOP Program in 2024 (phase 3), the OCOP product Ba Che Golden Flower Tea of Dap Thanh Forestry Trading Joint Stock Company was recognized as a national 5-star OCOP product. Thus, up to now, Quang Ninh has had a total of 8 national 5-star OCOP products (along with 3 products of Ha Long pearl and 1 product of Quy Hoa golden flower tea that were announced before 2023).

Binh Lieu vermicelli products of Binh Lieu Trading and Service Joint Stock Company are certified to achieve 5 stars at the national level.

Up to now, Quang Ninh OCOP products have been trusted and highly appreciated by many consumers and the market, contributing to making the OCOP Program an important economic program of the province, maximizing the potential and advantages of local traditional products. At the same time, forming product value chains, focusing on key products to reach domestic and foreign markets, elevating the OCOP Program to a strong brand of Quang Ninh province, creating new directions, new business lines, contributing to transforming rural economic values.
