Mang Yang has 72 elderly people who are good at doing business.

Mang Yang district has 12 grassroots organizations of the Elderly Association with 4,840 members. Over the past time, the elderly in the area have always promoted their role in all areas of life.

Typically, promoting the core role in the emulation movement "Old age, bright example"; actively participating in movements and campaigns such as: "Elderly people join hands to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas" associated with protecting the green-clean-beautiful environment; "The whole country joins hands for the poor - leaving no one behind"; "Promoting the implementation of civilized lifestyle in daily life and gradually eliminating child marriage and incestuous marriage in the district"; Changing the habits and thinking of ways of doing things among ethnic minorities to gradually rise up to escape poverty sustainably"...

Along with that, mobilize people and descendants to preserve traditional cultural values, actively contribute to the socio-economic development process, maintain political security and social order and safety in the locality.

During the past term, the District Elderly Association visited, gave gifts, and implemented social protection for 187 elderly people in difficult circumstances with a total amount of more than 467 million VND; coordinated with Saigon- Gia Lai International Eye Hospital to examine and consult on diseases for 4,079 elderly people, and performed cataract surgery for 479 people.

Currently, in the district, there are 72 elderly people who are good at business , with an annual income of over 300 million VND; 68 elderly people participate in the work of the grassroots political system as secretaries, deputy secretaries of party cells, village heads, and heads of residential groups.

During the 2024-2029 term, the Association of the Elderly will continue to promote the implementation of the Party and State's policies on the work of the elderly; focus on developing members; do a good job of health care and policies related to the elderly; strive for 100% of communes and towns to establish and build a fund "All people care for and promote the role of the elderly"; 100% of the elderly are eligible for social benefits and health insurance according to the provisions of law...

The Congress elected 15 members to the Executive Committee of the Mang Yang District Elderly Association for the 2024-2029 term. Accordingly, Mr. Dang Van Que - Head of the Representative Board of the District Elderly Association was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the District Elderly Association for the new term.
