Accordingly, nearly 1,000 gifts prepared by the hands of women who have experienced gender-based violence and started a new life at HopeBox will be given by Manulife Vietnam to female employees of Manulife Vietnam on March 8.

As part of the broader goal of the “Spreading Impact” program, Manulife continues to promote female leadership within the organization. This commitment is realized through an increase in the number of female leaders, with nearly half of the Executive Board members and nearly 60% of the senior leadership team at Manulife Vietnam being female.
HopeBox is one of the first social enterprises in Vietnam working in the field of gender-based violence to respond to the lack of psychological counseling services and comprehensive economic opportunities for victims.
International Women's Day is an annual celebration of the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. It is also an occasion to promote equal rights for women and to end gender-based violence.
