Implementing the Conclusion of the Head of the Ministry of National Defense on digital transformation and information technology training at military academies and schools, the Department of Military Training - Schools (General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army) has coordinated with the 86th Command, academies and schools to review, adjust and supplement the information technology training program, digital transformation for university-level officer training students. For the general training program, from the 2025-2026 school year, the Ministry of National Defense will issue training program standards, in which the information technology course with a study load of 4 credits (200 periods), meets the output standards of level 4/8 according to Circular No. 02/2025/TT-BGDDT of the Ministry of Education and Training promulgating the Digital Competency Framework for learners. Particularly at the Military Technical Academy and the Information Officer School, in addition to the basic information technology courses above, students are equipped with in-depth knowledge of majors in the fields of information technology and digital transformation.

For the program to popularize digital knowledge and skills to serve the implementation of the "Digital Education for All" Movement, the Department of Military Training - School has coordinated with Command 86, Military Technical Academy, Information Officer School, Information Technology College to develop a draft program for 5 target groups (officers; professional soldiers; defense workers and civil servants; students; non-commissioned officers, soldiers). Along with that, documents and lectures have been developed in a variety of genres, ensuring they are concise, easy to understand, easy to implement, and deploy for both teachers and learners, suitable for posting on online platforms, meeting the needs of a large number of participants.

After listening to the opinions and concluding the conference, Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh requested the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army to direct academies and schools to develop and complete the outline of information technology courses to meet the prescribed output standards and organize training from the 2025-2026 school year. The Department of Military Training - Schools synthesizes the implementation results of academies and schools, reports to the Head of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, the Head of the Ministry of National Defense in September 2025; presides over and coordinates with relevant agencies, units and academies and schools to complete the program to popularize digital knowledge and skills in accordance with the digital skills framework for students, to be completed before July 30.

The Military Technical Academy urgently compiles textbooks and information technology documents according to the unified digital competency framework in teaching and learning at academies and schools; builds modern model classrooms to serve the training, fostering of foreign languages and information technology, and digital transformation in schools and units throughout the army.
