In late April 2025, the Veterans Association of Thang Binh district coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district to hand over the "Comradely Love" house to member Ho Van Long (Binh Hai commune).
Mr. Long's house was built on an area of over 40 square meters, including a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, and a bathroom. The total cost of building the house was about 100 million VND, of which the District Fund for the Poor supported 60 million VND and the District Veterans Association supported 10 million VND. In addition, members of the Binh Hai Commune Veterans Association contributed 30 working days to dig the foundation and dismantle the house.
Mr. Trieu Phuc Cuong - Chairman of the Association of War Veterans of Thang Binh district said: "As soon as we received financial support from the District Fund for the Poor, we handed it over to member Ho Van Long to build a house and stabilize his life in the future."
At the same time, the "Red Scarf House" project for the 2024-2025 school year by Thang Binh District Youth Union and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district was accepted and handed over to the family of Le Thi Phuong Uyen (student of Hoang Hoa Tham Secondary School, Binh Lanh Commune).

This is a young project of the team members and children of the whole district who responded, implemented the small plan and submitted the small plan to the district to complete the project, practically making achievements to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
According to Mr. Doan Thien Ngoc Vu - Secretary of Thang Binh District Youth Union, as assigned at the beginning of this year, the Front and organizations helped 29 disadvantaged households escape poverty and near poverty.
In which, Thang Binh District Youth Union requested support from the District Fund for the Poor to build the “Red Scarf House”, the District Veterans Association built the “Comradely Love” house. Up to now, both houses have been handed over and put into use at the end of April.

In the case of Ms. TTP (born in 1989, Lieu Thanh village, Binh Nguyen commune), who completed her prison sentence and returned to her locality at the end of 2024, the Binh Nguyen Commune Youth Union also supported her to repair her house, creating motivation for her to improve her life.
Mr. Dinh Phu Dat - Secretary of the Binh Nguyen Commune Youth Union said that the Youth Union for Social Security Club, established by the Commune Youth Union 2 years ago, is ready to support and help households in difficulty during natural disasters and floods. Now this force is joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, helping households reduce demolition costs during the construction process.
