Fatherland Front of Ha Tinh province: Taking people's satisfaction as a measure

On the morning of November 21, the 16th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ha Tinh province, term 2025-2030, solemnly held its official session with the theme "Solidarity-Democracy-Innovation-Development", with the participation of 307 outstanding delegates representing the will, aspirations and great national unity of Ha Tinh province.

The term's mark of breakthrough and popular support

In his opening speech at the Congress, Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province Nguyen Thanh Dong emphasized the special significance of the 16th Congress. This is an important political event to summarize and comprehensively evaluate the implementation of the Resolution of the 15th Congress; frankly point out the limitations, causes and draw valuable lessons.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dong affirmed: "In the past term, in the context of many difficulties and challenges, under the leadership of the Provincial Party Committee and the guidance of the Central Government, the work of the Front has had many innovations in content and methods of operation. Most of the programs, targets and tasks have been completed and exceeded."

During the past term, under the leadership of the Party Committee and the close coordination of authorities at all levels, the great national unity bloc continued to be consolidated and expanded. The spirit of "The Party speaks - the people believe, the Front mobilizes - the people respond" continued to be affirmed in practice.

Propaganda and mobilization work is deployed in a diverse and practical manner, creating strong spread and social consensus. Campaigns and emulation movements are widely deployed, arousing the spirit of solidarity and creativity of the people.

Notable are the campaigns "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas," the program "eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses"... The program to build "Community Cultural Houses - Houses of Wisdom" has become typical of the whole country.

In addition, the work of social supervision and criticism has been increasingly deepened. During the term, the Fatherland Front at all levels organized 782 thematic supervisions, coordinated 1,032 inspections and conducted 656 social criticisms. These activities have contributed to removing difficulties at the grassroots level, limiting petitions and complaints, and strengthening people's trust in the Party and the government.

Take people's satisfaction as a measure

Speaking at the Congress, Ha Tinh Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duy Lam acknowledged and commended the great contributions of the Fatherland Front at all levels in building and consolidating the great national unity bloc, making an important contribution to the socio-economic development of the province.

Emphasizing the context and requirements in the new period, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duy Lam suggested that the Congress focus on 6 key tasks. He especially noted the consistent action motto: "Taking people as the center, subject, goal and driving force."

"The Fatherland Front must truly be a reliable and sustainable bridge between the Party, the government and the people. All activities must be directed towards the grassroots, taking the satisfaction and trust of the people as a measure of work efficiency," the Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee emphasized.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Lam also requested that the Fatherland Front at all levels need to strongly innovate propaganda and mobilization work to create high social consensus, arousing the aspiration to build a system of cultural values and people of Ha Tinh in the new era. At the same time, it is necessary to proactively fight against wrong arguments and firmly protect the Party's ideological foundation.

In particular, the Provincial Party Secretary directed the Provincial Fatherland Front to be a pioneer in digital transformation, effectively deploying the "Digital Front Portal" to quickly interact and promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of the people.

With the spirit of "Solidarity-Democracy-Innovation-Development", the Congress focused on discussing and unanimously approving the direction, goals and action program for the 2025-2030 term.

The Congress determined the overarching goal to continue promoting the strength of great national unity; strongly innovating the content and methods of operation; well performing the core political role, representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people; supervising and providing social criticism; and participating in building a clean and strong Party and State.

After a period of urgent and serious work, the Congress consulted and elected 118 members to join the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province, term XVI, 2025 - 2030.

The Congress also consulted and elected 12 official and alternate delegates to attend the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2026-2031 term. The Congress consulted and elected Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dong, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the 15th Ha Tinh Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, to be re-elected as Chairman of the 16th Ha Tinh Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

The success of the Congress is an important premise, creating new momentum for the Party Committee, government and people of Ha Tinh to continue to unite and strive to successfully achieve socio-economic development goals, building Ha Tinh province to be increasingly rich, beautiful and civilized./.
